✖ GROSS RELATIONS (BROOKLYN, NY) // Pop-Lo-fi-Rock
"Heavily distorted and catchy as hell, don’t sleep on Brooklyn up-and-comers Gross Relations. This fearsome foursome is churning out some sick garage synth-pop that will get in your head and stay there. Their songs are a bit rough around the edges, yet undeniably infectious. It’s easy to see why they’re blowing up the blogosphere." The Owl Mag

SEXY NEIGHBORS (BROOLYN, NY) // Garage-Rock
Sexy Neighbors play quirky garage rock that layers off-kilter vocals and organ over stop-start punk rhythms, softened now and again by guy-girl harmonies. This slice of slurry, punky hoopla feels distinctly lo-fi and louche, but also barbarian, bohemian and bloody brilliant – and all that despite, sadly, not being a Fleetwood Mac cover. It’s also got a firmly foot-stomping bassline and the sort of messy, murmury vocals that positively demand drunken singing along.
