A two night micro-tour of Brooklyn and Boston. Bon Savants are back for their only east coast performances during the 2012 striped bass fishing season.
The nights will see the debut of The Future Brite (members ex-Demander), showcasing intricately electric songs from the forthcoming EP slated for release this fall.
The inestimable Yoni Gordon will start things off with a full lineup, featuring dope jams from his upcoming album "The Hard Way".
BKLYN's own Old Mill will close things out at Public Assembly with fuzzy songs of Chairman Mao's thongs.*

++Bon Savants: Thom grew up in Oregon, Kevin in Texas. They met in Germany and started a band when they were teenagers. Not this one. Thom went to college in Massachusetts, Kevin in Colorado. They graduated and started a band in Boston. This one. Dave joined. Andy joined. Others came and went. We miss them. The band got good, played some shows, released a CD that people liked, toured. Tia joined. They recorded more songs. Now it’s today already. They all live in Boston now. With a bunch of balloons and unicorns.

++The Future Brite is the new project of Karen Kanan Corrêa, formerly the songwriter, singer and bassist of Demander. Her new project features moonlighting musicians, songs for dancing, songs for walking, and the kaossilator.

++Old Mill: is from Pittsburgh, Isle of Man, and Brooklyn. Rennie and Jenne started out writing songs and piling a bunch of stuff on them, then Bobby and Shane joined in to make sense of it. Now, let's blend the textures and rhythms to make you feel nice again. less
