Help us stop hunger in New York City!
Proceeds from this free annual hummus cook-off / raffle / party will benefit the New York City Coalition Against Hunger (NYCCAH) and will help fund the Craig Murphey Fellowship program. This program continues the outstanding work of Craig Murphey, a young community organizer who worked tirelessly to help bring locally grown, nutritious food to low-income New Yorkers. After Craig lost his life in a bicycle accident five years ago, NYCCAH created the fellowship program in his honor to help carry on his legacy of anti-hunger advocacy. Craig worked as hard as he laughed and danced, and it’s in this spirit that we’ve put together a great night of food, music, laughter and friendship — all for a great cause.
