Performances by:
9:00 Urban Barnyard
10:00 Hank & Cupcakes
11:00 Costello
12:00 Daniel Bernstein & The Everybody Knows

Urban Barnyard

For some bands the impetus is politics, for others it’s sex or drugs, but Urban Barnyard draws its inspiration from a different muse. There’s a good-natured goofiness to the antifolky outfit’s new one, Scream Like Human Beings!, but the coed frontpersons wring a disarming amount of poignancy out of zoo stories such as “Seeing Eye Dogs” and “Macaque Attack.” - Time Out New York

Hank & Cupcakes

This is Butt Shaking. Raw. Minimalist. Pop.
Hank & Cupcakes are one guy on bass, one girl on vocals and drums with one explosive performance. They have been exploring the limits to bring you an entirely live new age poprock repertoire with new sounds, new grooves, no loops, no computers. You must see this.

Costello

Dan Costello is the songwriter behind COSTELLO, a musical group centered at The Brooklyn Tea Party, a loft venue and apartment in Bushwick. COSTELLO features Rachel Devlin, Michael David Campbell and Brook Pridemore on a variety of instruments. All four sing in the band. Dan wrote a new album on the road this year, and the album, simply called COSTELLO, is completed and will be available on tour this fall and subsequently worldwide.
Daniel Bernstein & The Everybody Knows

Daniel has been writing songs and performing in bands since middle school. Once he toured with his friends the Moldy Peaches as their opening act in 2001. Once he was part of a band called Larval Organs. They released a record on Brooklyn's Tuolumne Records. Mostly he's made records on his own.
